Shut Down Of LGBTQI+ Youth Crisis Line Raises Concerns
The LGBTQI+ Youth Subnetwork of the 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline will shut down on July 17, increasing pressure on the main 988 Lifeline and potentially reducing access for LGBTQIA2S+ youth, but the state Department of Health is committed to ensuring that crisis counselors are trained to provide culturally competent care.
