Seattle Public Library Reports 12.7 Million Checkouts, 3.4 Million Visits In 2025
The Seattle Public Library recorded more than 12.7 million checkouts and 3.4 million in-person visits in 2025, highlighting continued demand for books, digital media and community services, with digital borrowing surpassing physical materials and the library hosting more than 5,800 programs and providing technology access for over 400,000 hours.
