The Comprehensive Plan, often referred to as the โ€œComp Plan,โ€ serves as a 20-year roadmap for how Seattle will grow. It guides decisions on housing, jobs, transportation and investments in infrastructure such as sidewalks, utilities and public spaces.

City leaders say Phase 2 of the plan will focus on zoning changes and development standards, determining where and how growth will occur across Seattle.

Lin, who chairs the City Councilโ€™s Select Committee on the Comprehensive Plan, said community input will play a key role in shaping the final outcome.

Residents will also have an opportunity to provide input during a formal public hearing scheduled for early April.
