Week 7 of Metro League football delivered lopsided victories and standout performances as several teams made strong pushes toward postseason positioning. O’Dea stayed perfect, Eastside Catholic flexed its depth, West Seattle maintained its undefeated streak, and Lakeside impressed with a shutdown defensive effort.
O’Dea 48, Ballard 0
O’Dea (6–0 Metro) continued its dominant season with a 48-0 shutout of Ballard, fueled by a relentless ground game and a suffocating defense. The Fighting Irish ran for 434 yards, with explosive plays from multiple backs.
Uriah Stringfield rushed for 100 yards and two touchdowns, while Peyton Egan added 112 yards, including a 77-yard score. J’Shaun Wilson, Owen Brustkern, and Manaia Titialii-McKinnon also reached the end zone as O’Dea piled up points early and often.
The defense stifled Ballard’s attempts to respond. Keelan Thomas tallied a sack and a fumble recovery, and Micah Thornock capped the win with a late interception in the end zone.

Eastside Catholic (5–1 Metro) dominated from the opening whistle against Seattle Prep (3–3), leaning on perfect quarterback play from Luca Villasenor, who completed all 15 of his passes for 203 yards.
Nick Jones and Cayden Pili each scored multiple touchdowns on the ground, combining for over 190 yards rushing. Villasenor added two interceptions on defense, while Asa Thompson caught two passes for 83 yards and a score.
Seattle Prep’s bright spots included an 11-yard TD reception by Win Chandler and a 73-yard return from Beckett Archer. Defensively, Dylan Gilbert and Xavier Losh notched interceptions.
Eastside Catholic Standouts:

Lakeside 26, Franklin 0
Lakeside shut out Franklin in a gritty defensive battle, limiting the Quakers to just 120 total yards. The Lions controlled the tempo throughout and executed consistently on both sides of the ball.
Franklin’s defensive effort was led by Steven Mpila, who racked up 13 tackles, including four for loss. Henry Moore added 10 tackles and an interception, but the Quakers couldn’t find a rhythm offensively as Lakeside kept them off the board for four full quarters.

West Seattle 58, Ingraham 6
West Seattle (5–0 Metro lower division, 6–0 overall) stayed unbeaten with a commanding 58–6 win over Ingraham, scoring touchdowns on offense, defense, and special teams.
Desmond Parkinson led the way with five touchdown passes, including strikes to Aidan Croppi, Grady Scheff, and LJ Moody. Moody also returned a punt for a touchdown, while Ford Fitterer recorded two interceptions and a sack, returning one pick for a score.
Ingraham’s highlight came from Logan Rudell, who broke free for a 65-yard touchdown run.
West Seattle Standouts:

- LJ Moody – 73 receiving yards, 2 TDs; punt return TD
